An information event about the Senior Corps’ RSVP And Senior Companion volunteer programs will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30, at the Silver Creek Senior Center, located at 1658 S. Main St. in Snowflake. The event is open to people 55 years of age and up. No experience is necessary, just a warm heart and a desire to help. Volunteering benefits the volunteer both mentally and physically. It gives a sense of purpose and the satisfaction of knowing you are improving the health of your community. Sharing your talent, interest or expertise is a great way to give back to your community. If you have questions, contact RSVP Program Coordinator Michele Lytle by phone at (928) 523-5039 or email at Michele.Lytle@nau.edu.
