Stephen H. Hendrix, 76, passed away at home on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017. He was born to Ferrell and Grace Hendrix in Williamsburg, Ill. After graduating high school, Steve joined the United States Army and did his basic training in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He spent the rest of his years in the Army at a NIKE Army Base in Pennsylvania. He lived in the Philadelphia area for over 10 years before moving to Southern California. He was an electrical contractor and retired early to visit all 50 states. He moved to Snowflake in 2002. Steve married Judith Sudkamp in 1966. They had so many good times together on their many little adventures. Survivors include his wife, Judith of Snowflake; his daughter, Kimmy Sue, of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ferrell and Grace Hendrix; his older sisters, Delores Weatherholt and Nadine Linder; and his older brother, Dale Hendrix. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
