Donald Lee Stahl, 82, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Summit Healthcare Medical Center in Show Low. There will be no services. He was born Feb. 9, 1934, in Culver City, Calif., and grew up in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. He married his wife Sally in 1962 and they moved to Tempe in 1963. He worked for Salt River Project for 31 years in customer service, retiring in 1994. They moved to Overgaard in 1999 until 2002, when they lost their home in the Rodeo-Chediski fire, at which time they moved to Show Low. Don had a sharp wit and a great sense of humor. He liked RV travel, TV wrestling, working out with weights and playing cards. Survivors include his loving wife, Sally; and his stepson, Thomas Eichorst. Direct any donations in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low was in charge of the arrangements.
