Ruth Carnahan passed away on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at home in Snowflake after a long battle with illness. A memorial service will be held at a later date. She was born Nov. 30, 1934, to John and Diana Childers. Ruth loved to cook and write. Survivors include Julie Yurk of California, Dennis Cask of Goodyear, Wes Carnahan of Camp Verde and Fred Carnahan of Snowflake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Carnahan. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
