Uttecht, Greg Gregory W. Uttecht unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014. There will be a public viewing at 6 o’clock tonight (Nov. 7) at Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor. The funeral will follow at 7 p.m. at the mortuary.

He was born on Sept. 8, 1968, to Carl and Virgie Uttecht.

Greg grew up in Phoenix and Snowflake. His interests included riding dirt bikes, fishing, hiking, exploring, “handyman” activities and spending time with family. Time spent with his two sons was his greatest joy of life. He always had an ornery personality and enjoyed making people laugh by pulling pranks and making jokes. His legacy will be carried on through his sons, and his memory will go on in our hearts forever.

Survivors include his parents, Carl and Virgie Uttecht; his children, Justin Uttecht and Kyle Uttecht; his stepchildren, Kayla O’Donnell and Kristopher Pence; and his siblings, Sheila Houston, Karen (Eddie) Adrian and Jeffery (Tina) Uttecht.

He was preceded in death by Rodney E. Plympton III, Tabatha Crandell and Leland Johnson.
