The eastbound lanes of I-40 came to a standstill last Saturday after the trailer of a commercial truck caught fire just east of Winslow. No through traffic was permitted for over an hour. Once opened it was limited to one lane for three hours, causing many drivers to choose a detour along the unpaved Territorial Road to Joseph City.
