Crews from the Winslow, Joseph City, Holbrook and Blue Ridge fire departments fought the blaze into the early morning hours of Monday. According to City Manager Steve Pauken, “The log mill fire will be under investigation for awhile. It looks like it consumed about half of the logs on the premises.” The business produces firewood to be bundled and sold at stores nationwide.
