Board Chairman Jason Whiting acknowledged the hard work the young athletes put in each day, as well as their dedication. He commended them for the unusual way they connect with the community, noting that they took the widows on a date for Valentine’s Day. Whiting told them that it is wonderful to win gold medals, but that to have the integrity that they have is worth much more. Those on hand for the presentations included (front row, left to right) Sheriff KC Clark, District III Supervisor Jason Whiting, Luke Craun, Kendal Kay, Maser Willis, Bryce Palmer, Kadyn Davis, Jake Hall, Jordan Gardner, Dallin Chapman, (back row) Coach Lyndsay Lyman, Coach Joe Claire, Justin Webber, Tanner Beatty, Brady Petersen, Ban Taylor, Kegan Bjornn, Dylan Richards, Dylan Kay, Tanner Willis, Kurt Wood, Coach Ashley Davis and County Attorney Brad Carlyon.
