The 76th annual Christmas Parade in Winslow is quickly approaching, and this year’s theme promises to be a celebration of culture and tradition. The parade, titled “An Indigenous Christmas,” is set to take place this Saturday, Nov. 18, making it one of Northern Arizona’s longest running and most cherished holiday events.

The grand marshals for this year’s parade have been announced as Dave and Ann Hartman. Dave Hartman is the owner of Harley Hendricks Real Estate. The selection of grand marshals is based on their active involvement in the community, contributions, and dedication to the City of Winslow. Dave and Ann Hartman are recognized for their philanthropic efforts and participation in various community activities, making them outstanding representatives of Winslow.

The parade organizers are excited to welcome more dance groups from across the state to participate in this year’s festivities. Additionally, the parade will have the privilege of hosting Diné and Hopi dignitaries, adding a unique cultural dimension to the event that isn’t typically seen.
