Photo by Jim BuckleyAn Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) crew performed a refurbish on the famous Route 66 sign at the intersection of Second Street and Kinsley Avenue in Winslow recently. The popular tourist stop was cleaned and repainted with a grant from the Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona just in time for the Standin’ on the Corner Festival later this month.
