The Winslow Blues Festival held last weekend may not have brought the crowds that the Standin’ On The Corner Foundation hoped it would, but it definitely brought the talent. Musicians from Winslow all the way out from Santa Fe and Phoenix came together to create what the foundation hopes will be a growing annual event.
The foundation hopes to garner enough funds to build a new stage for the Eagle Pavilion where events such as the Standin’ On The Corner Festival and the blues festival will be held each year. To make this a reality, donations are being sought to make the pavilion a premiere site for entertainment. Donors who contribute at least $500, with monthly payments acceptable, will have their name included on a brass plaque on the side of the stage.
