The Winslow Arts Trust (WAT) Museum at the La Posada, located at 303 E. Second St., is prepared to open this weekend. According to WAT director Dan Lutzick, “The WAT Museum construction crew has been working overtime to get the museum open by Friday, Sept. 28th. After seven years of effort the museum will have a soft opening during the Standing on the Corner Festival on Sept. 29.” The opening will feature works from 15 artists in residence Petrified Forest National Park. The show, to be displayed in Gallery F on the east side of the space will also include Native American dancers and artists from 1 until 4 p.m. on Sept. 29 and Oct. 6.
