Both Wildcat Track teams competed on Thursday last week in the Blue Ridge Invitational meet.
In girls’ events:
In the 100-meter dash, Jasmine Nells placed 28th with a time of 14.90. Mila Schafer was 47th and Kamryn Lampsa placed 59th.
In the 200-meter dash, Jasmine Nells finished 29th, with a time of 31.28. Mila Schafer was 37th.
In the 800-meter run and the 1600-meter run, Lacy Deets placed 25th and 19th respectively.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Abigayle Smith finished 16th, with a time of 20.47.
Kaci Palmer placed 14th in the 300-meter hurdles, with a time of 57.32. She finished fourth in the high jump, clearing 4-08 and she placed 23rd in the long jump, with a distance of 11-11.25.
In the discus, Sarya Heward placed 32nd, with a throw of 60-02. Cambria Miller was 57th.
In the shot put, Kamryn Lampsa was 26th, with a toss of 21-10. Sarya Heward placed 30th, and Cambria Miller finished 45th.
In the boys’ events:
In the 100-meter dash, Mees Koopman was 18th, with a time of 12.30. Jaimen Tsosie finished 43rd.
In the 200-meter dash, Cody Nockideneh placed 31st, with a time of 26.12. Arizya Heward was 47th.
In the 400-meter dash, Cody Nockideneh placed 30th with a time of 1:00.42.
In the 800-meter run, Bryce Bushman was 13th, with a time of 2:14.63.
In the 1600-meter run, Bryce Bushman placed 10th, with a time of 5:04.21. Cory McLaws was 37th.
In the 3200-meter run, Cory McLaws placed 17th, with a time of 13:01.99.
In the high jump, Mees Koopman placed seventh, clearing a height of 5-06. Jaimen Tsosie was 16th.
In the long jump, Mees Koopman placed 21st, with a distance of 16-01.5. Jaimen Tsosie was 22nd.
In the discus, Bridger Fields placed 19th, with a throw of 95-08. Arizya Heward was 34th.
In the shot put, Bridger Fields placed 12th, with a toss of 36-04.5.
