Joseph City competed in the 4th Annual Bubba Nielsen Track Classic on Friday in Payson. Eighty-two teams from around Arizona competed in the meet.
In the girls 100-meter, Gianna Brawley was 43rd in 14.55. Julianna Fraley was 60th, Danika Pound was 64th and Rylnn Young was 68th.
In the 400-meter, Lacy Deets placed 23rd in 1:13.44.
In the 800-meter, Lacy Deets was 16th in 2:51.50, and Danika Pound was 35th.
In the 1600-meter, Karly Hansen was 26th in 6:55.50.
The Lady Wildcat 4×100-meter relay team placed 14th with a time of 58.81.
In the high jump, Kaci Palmer was sixth, clearing the bar at 4-08. Gianna Brawley was 16th.
In the long jump, Peyton Bushman played third with a distance of 16-3.25.
In the discus, Leah Player was 53rd with a throw of 43-3. Kaci Plamer placed 54th.
In the shot put, Shannon Baxter placed 28th with a toss of 20-09.
In the boys 200-meter, Pharrell Poselt was 55th with a time of 27.14.
In the 400-meter, William Grant was 27th in 56.84. Trenton Deets was 61st.
In the 800-meter, William Grant was 35th with a time of 2:26.10, Pharrell Poselt was 38th and Trenton Deets 61st.
In the 1600-meter, Jimmy McLaws was 60th in 6:48.40. He then placed 42nd in the 3200-meter run with a time of 14:31.
In the 300-meter hurdles, Enzo Lebled was 29th win 52.08. Brayden Bushman was 34th.
In the high jump, JD Miller placed ninth, clearing the bar at 5-06.
In the discus, Colton Bloomfield was 47th with a throw of 74-0. He also placed 72nd in the shot put with a toss of 17-0.
