On Nov. 21, the Winslow High School spirit line traveled to Phoenix to defend their back-to-back state Gameday Championships. In the previous years they were in a split division of large and small dance teams Division III groups. This year it would be no split just a Division III Gameday Championship and the Bulldog’s spirit line would be competing against 18 teams both large and small.

Winslow, ALA-Queen Creek and ALA-Ironwood moved on to the finals where Winslow would clench their third straight Gameday Championship.

The cheer team, after several years of not competing at state would also perform at Gameday and came in 10th. Cheer members include Angela Salazar, Yailin Valencia-Dominquez, Felecia Federicks, Lauralye Williams, Charm Panana-Zaragoza, Alicia Garcia, Giulian Vasquez and Adelynn Ward.
