Participants in the Hemmings Motor The Great Race presented by Hagerty recently made their way across the country, and made a stop in Winslow last week. Antique, vintage, and collector cars started their journey in Kirkwood, Mo., and stopped at the Visitors Center on Second Street before heading on to Santa Monica, Calif.
The Great Race is designed for the enjoyment of the race participants and the spectators along the route as drivers take part in the competitive rally. Many of the vehicles are unique transformations from antique and classic cars that have been modified for appearance and endurance.
