Tak Ming “Doug” Wong passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025. Doug was born in China on Oct. 8, 1950. He moved to Vancouver, Canada, with his family as a young boy and would eventually make his way to Winslow.
He spent many years in Winslow as a businessman and made many lifelong friends along the way. Doug was always happy and loved to make everyone laugh. He lived by the saying “mind over matter” and would often tell you “If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter!”
Doug is survived by his two daughters Clarissa and Aimee Wong; and granddaughter, Rileigh Perez. He was very proud of his two girls and all of their accomplishments. In his later years Doug’s favorite part of life was being Rileigh’s Grandpa.
To carry out Doug’s wishes there will not be any funeral services. He would want everyone to remember the good times and live life with laughter.
