She loved walking, riding her bike, and jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Her greatest passion, however, was her family, especially her eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her five children, Steve Sandoval, Doris (Manuel) Hernandez and Janie Sandoval of Winslow, Lynda (Eddie) Koury of Globe and Tom Sandoval of Show Low; two brothers, Joe (Julie) Valencia of Grants, N.M., and Manuel (Angela) Valencia of Albuquerque, N.M., and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Sandoval; grandson, Manny Hernandez III, and daughter-in-law, Margaret Sandoval; her parents, eight sisters and two brothers.

She was a woman of strong faith, finding strength and guidance in her relationship with the Lord throughout her life.

Her celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 14, at First Baptist Church in Winslow.
