Stephen Andrew Richards, 63, of Winslow passed away on July 16, 2018, in Flagstaff. Funeral services for Stephen were held on July 20, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Winslow. He was born in Winslow on July 8, 1955. As a child he loved baseball and the boy scouts. As an adult he loved playing the drums in a band. He enjoyed playing pool and working out. He also loved going to church. He was always smiling and spent a lot of time being social and making everyone laugh. He was also very proud of the time he spent serving our country as a member of the Air Force. He worked for the railroad for 20 years before retiring. Stephen is survived by his son, Chantz Richards; two daughters, Shayna Richards and Devin Paulson; mother, Connie Richards; two sisters, Danette Cress and Pauletta Cavanaugh; and three brothers, Joel Richards, Geoff Richards and Chris Richards; and three grandchldren. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Richards and his granddaughter, Skye McManus.
