The following incidents were among the 233 handled by the Snowflake-Taylor Police Department (STPD) during the period of July 15-21. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by STPD officers are accused of committing a civil violation or of criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 12:02 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, Thomas Kurtz, 46, of Snowflake was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on West Hereford Road in Taylor. Kurtz was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
At 9:18 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, Jonathan Fowler, 36, of Show Low was arrested for driving on a suspended license and an open container violation following a traffic stop on North Main Street in Taylor. Fowler was booked into the county jail.
