A Tennessee man is reaching out to people in the region in hopes of finding a connection to the father he hasn’t seen in 13 years and has now passed.
According to Linda Daugherty, the Navajo County Public Fiduciary notified her son Timothy Adler in April that his father, Ron Adler, had passed away in September of 2017. Timothy, now 37, hadn’t spoken with his father since 2005. “Timothy had joined the Tennessee Army National Guard and they had differing views. There was no hard feelings, they just lost touch,” stated Daugherty.
Ron had moved to Winslow about a year ago and was residing at The Lodge Motel in Winslow. At the time of his passing he had been in the process of moving his belongings from The Lodge to a new home but the fiduciary’s office did not have information on where that might be.
Timothy is being deployed to Eastern Europe and asked his mother to seek out any information as to where he may have been moving in order to locate his missing belongings. Of particular interest to Timothy is artwork created by his father, who was a painter and a sculptor.
If anyone knew Ron Adler and may have information leading to his son being able to locate his belongings, please contact Daugherty at (865) 719-9103 or email ldaugherty@charter.net.
