The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Areas 1 and 2 during the period of Oct. 26 – Nov. 1. Areas 1 and 2 include Joseph City, Woodruff, Sun Valley, Goodwater, Adamana, unincorporated areas of Winslow and Holbrook, and parts of the Navajo and Hopi reservations that are located within the boundaries of Navajo County. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 3:56 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, Augustine Saiz, 18, of Holbrook, was cited and released from criminal speeding following a traffic stop on Navajo Blvd., and Iowa Street in Holbrook.
At 12:07 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, Cindy Cirillo, 58, of Adamana, was cited and released for leaving the scene of a collision after deputies responded to the area of Adamana Road for a delayed report of a hit and run.
