The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Areas 1 and 2 during the period of May 11-17. Areas 1 and 2 include Joseph City, Woodruff, Sun Valley, Goodwater, Adamana, unincorporated areas of Winslow and Holbrook, and parts of the Navajo and Hopi reservations that are located within the boundaries of Navajo County. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 12:10 p.m. on Monday, May 12, Noah Dobell, 41, of Holbrook, was arrested on a child support warrant after deputies made contact with Dobell in the Holbrook area. Dobell was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
At 4:23 p.m. on Monday, Anthony McPherson, 33, of Holbrook, was arrested for assault after deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of Hunsaker Road in Holbrook for a report of a domestic violence incident. McPherson was booked into the county jail.
At 6 p.m. on Friday, May 16, Felicia Yazzie, 27, of Winslow was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 87 at milepost 354.5 in the Winslow area.
At 8:23 p.m. on Friday, Shannon Serious, 53, of Winslow, was arrested for failure to comply with a court order following a traffic stop on 3rd Street and Pope Avenue in Winslow. Serious was booked into the county jail.
