The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of April 12-18. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 10:47 a.m. on Sunday, April 12, Sarahm Spear, 19, of Eagar, was cited and released for assault after deputies were dispatched to the 2900 block of Wahoo Road in Overgaard for a report of a court order violation.
At 2:06 p.m. on Sunday, a 16-year-old boy was issued a juvenile referral for assault after deputies were dispatched to the 2900 block of Wahoo Road in Overgaard for a report of a court order violation.
At 2:14 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, Marissa Vanert, 22, of Albuquerque, N.M., was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 303 in the Heber area.
