The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of May 25-31. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, Shawn Bell, 41, of Maricopa, was arrested for reckless burning after deputies responded to the 1900 block of State Route 260 in the Heber area for a report of a fire. Bell was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
At 3:07 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, George Miles, 49, of Overgaard, was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal damage after deputies were dispatched to the 3300 block of Buckskin Road in Overgaard for a report of a disorderly subject. Miles was booked into the county jail.
At 6:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Roseann Tyler, 57, of Yukon, Okla., was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 324 in the Heber area.
