The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Sept. 22-28. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, Gabriel Garcia, 22, of Phoenix, was arrested for failure to appear following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 293 in the Heber area. Garcia was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
