The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Aug. 18-24. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, Karen Yates-Reiser, 65, of Phoenix, was cited and released for reckless burning after deputies were dispatched to Walnut Ranch in Heber for a report of a fire.
