The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of March 31 – April 6. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, Richard Herbert, 48, of Heber, was arrested for sexual conduct with a minor, molestation of a child and continuous sexual abuse of a child after deputies conducted a search warrant on the 3300 block of Buckskin Road in Heber. Herbert was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
