The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Aug. 9-15. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 11:51 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, Cy Despain, 32, of Heber, was cited and released for theft of controlled property after deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of Black Canyon Road in Heber for a report of theft.
At 5:36 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11, Jennifer Aguirre, 62, of Overgaard was arrested for failure to comply with a court order and disorderly conduct after deputies were dispatched to the 2900 block of Pine Rim Road in Overgaard for a report of an intoxicated individual. Aguirre was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
At 6:31 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, Terry Boffman, 52, of Heber, was arrested for burglary, kidnapping/domestic violence, aggravated assault and violent sexual assault after deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of 2nd Avenue in Heber for a report of a sex offense. Boffman was booked into the county jail.
At 10:48 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, Scott Stuart, 64, of Sun Valley was cited and released for disorderly conduct after deputies were dispatched to the 3300 block of Buckskin Road in Overgaard for a report of an assault.
