The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 4 during the period of Aug. 6-12. Area 4 covers approximately 1,800 square miles, and encompasses the unincorporated areas of Snowflake/Taylor, Shumway, Cedar Hills, White Mountain Lake and Show Low Pines. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by the officers are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. At 3:28 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, Eric Vogt, 52, of Snowflake was arrested for failure to comply with a court order following a traffic stop on Concho Highway at Dia Estrella Road east of Snowflake. Vogt was booked into the Navajo County Jail. At 6:35 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9, Valaree Lindquist, 39, of Snowflake, was arrested for DUI after deputies made contact with Lindquist on State Route 77 at Milepost 357 in the Taylor area. Lindquist was booked into the county jail.
