The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of July 10-16. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. On Wednesday, July 13, Justin Pierce, 41, of Heber was arrested for theft of a means of transportation and violation of probation in the 1800 block of State Route 260 in Heber after deputies were contacted by Holbrook Police Department regarding a stolen vehicle that could be in the Heber area. Pierce was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
