The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of April 23 – May 6. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. At 3:31 p.m. on Thursday, May, 4, Caleb Yaninek, 20, of Colorado Springs, Colo., was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at Milepost 306 in Heber. At 3:20 p.m. on Friday, May 5, Savannah Osborne, 19, of Pinetop was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at Milepost 308 in the Heber area. At 4:07 p.m. on Friday, Jared Anderson, 28, of Gilbert was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at Milepost 309 in the Overgaard area. At 3:32 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, Ryan Judas, 49, of Urbandale, Iowa, was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at Milepost 307 in the Heber area.
