“Every day I have the privilege of leading more than 160 full time employees and over 150 volunteers who are dedicated in providing public safety services to the citizens of Navajo County. During the past four years we have been working continuously to find ways to improve those services through several different functions. Some of the areas we have focused on is our use of technology, communication/radio system upgrades, detention inmate programs, fiscal responsibility within our budget, patrol posse program, highway safety, and securing over $13 million in local grant funds.

All these areas we focused on and improved has all led back to my priority in providing quality services, reducing response times, reduction of violent crime, reducing recidivism with repeat offenders, responding to border related crimes and drug interdiction. By doing this, we are prioritizing protecting local communities and making Navajo County a peaceful location to live, raise a family, run small businesses, obtain an education or whatever your life goals may be.
