Sergeant Bill Murray
Navajo County Sheriff’s Deputy Sergeant Bill Murray received a national award last week for his work in criminal interdiction and identifying national criminal organizations that travel the roadways within Navajo County. The Drug Interdiction Assistance Program (DIAP) and the Motor Carrier Safety Administration (MCSA) held their national convention in Virginia Beach, Va., and recognized the work of Sgt. Murray, and how his initial investigations lead to national and international criminal syndicates. Sgt. Murray is the supervisor of the Traffic Enforcement Division of the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office.
