Sandra Ilena Magana Sandra “Sandy” Ilena Magana passed from this life on Aug. 21, 2021, at age 63. Sandy was born to Hubert and Belle Tuell on May 8, 1958, in Auburn, Calif. As a child Sandy enjoyed playing softball and later passed that talent on to her daughters. She worked for the State of Arizona for many years, serving as a correctional officer and child care administrator. She provided childcare for many, caring for children was truly her calling. She was very passionate about children’s welfare and contributed her time to helping children in need. Sandy was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her sister, Linda Branch; and her five children, Brandie Magana, Tony Magana, Jennifer (JR) Perez, Alessandra (Garek) Hurt and Jessica (Kaitlee) Jackson; 11 grandchildren, Michael Magana, Alexis Skye, Cody Ridge Magana, Alexis Ortiz, Jayden Magana, Rileigh Perez, Paisley Perez, Atlas Hurt, Arlo Jackson, Aiden Jackson, and Rowan Jackson; and her fur baby Bailey. She will be forever loved and remembered. No services will take place per her request but our family appreciates all of your love and support.
