Safernia McMillan, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 29, 2023, in Snowflake. She was born Sept. 25, 1937, in Concho. Saffie, as her friends and family called her, is survived by her son, David C. McMillan, (Lily); granddaughter, Shana; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, David McMillan; parents, Lorenzo and Sofia Garcia; and two daughters, Theresa and Susan McMillan. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 19, at San Rafael Catholic Church in Concho. Rosary will precede the mass at 9 a.m. Burial will follow the mass at Concho Catholic Cemetery. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
