The minute they made contact with him they fell in love. Nana Brenda, Auntie Madie and big sister Kaiya laid eyes on Ryder and also fell in love. When Kaiya came home and Ryder would be crying in the next room with mom, Kaiya would say, “Nana can I go and get him and I can finish my homework later”, Nana would say no. Minutes later Kaiya would walk into Nana’s room with Ryder in her arms smiling away.
