Photo by Dan LutzickConstruction of the Rt. 66 Art Museum next to the La Posada Hotel in Winslow began earlier this month with the Arizona Department of Transportation on hand to oversee the work by general contractor Stratton Builders. The ductwork for the six HVAC systems for the galleries was installed and concrete subcontractors poured the footing for the west Gallery F wall and started laying cinderblock to create the walls.
