Robert G. Gonzales Robert G. Gonzales, 72, passed away on Nov. 23, 2020, in Mesa. Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, at Madre de Dios Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Desert View Cemetery. He was born on May 19, 1948, to Pilar and Josephine Gonzales in Winslow. Bobby married the love of his life, Patricia on Nov. 21, 1969. In June of 1970 he served for the US Army in the Vietnam War. He returned home and raised his four children and worked in construction until he retired in May of 2008. His favorite past time was spending time with his family. Bobby is survived by his wife, Patricia Gonzales; son, Robert Gonzales; daughters, Kim (Melcor) Salazar and Lucille (Joseph) Milligan; sisters, Patsy Macedo and Cheryl Gonzales; brothers, Pilar Gonzales, Raymond Gonzales, Arthur Gonzales and Paul Gonzales; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pilar and Josephine Gonzales; brothers, Richard Gonzales and Teno Gonzales; sister, Brenda Saucedo; son, Antonio Gonzales; and grand-daughters, Alana and Anastacia Gonzales. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
