With heavy hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of our beloved Rita Sanchez, who passed away on Oct. 14, 2026, at the age of 75.
Rita was the heart of her family, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose warmth, strength and unconditional love touched everyone around her. Her memory will forever live on through the family she cherished.
Rita is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, Gilbert Sanchez. She is survived by her four loving sons, Johnny, Victor, Gilbert Jr. and Troy, along with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held beginning with a viewing at 11 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 6, at Owens Livingston Mortuary. Rita will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. at Holbrook Cemetery, with a reception immediately following at the Sanchez residence.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rita's life at a potluck-style gathering. Guests are encouraged to bring a favorite dish or meal that reminds them of Rita.
Though deeply missed, Rita's love, laughter, and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those blessed to know her. Her legacy lives on through generations of love.
