Richard Powers, born Sept. 5, 1948, passed away on Jan. 26, 2025, at Little Colorado Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his wife, Debi; son, Richard Michael; grandsons, Michael Gage and Dillon Sonny Logan; one granddaughter, Lydia Summer of Nebraska; and one great-grandson, Atticus Roo, also of Nebraska. He had four sisters, JoAnn Yates of Artesia, N.M., Carolyn Brown of Albuquerque, N.M., Marilyn Bush of Artesia, and Joyce Woods of Albuquerque.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at the First Baptist Church, located at 360 1st. Ave. in Holbrook.
