Rachel Salazar Rachel Salazar, 88, born in Los Angeles, Calif., on April 17, 1932, entered into rest on Jan. 4, 2021, in Winslow. She enjoyed family gatherings and going to church. Visitation will from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21, at Greer’s Mortuary in Winslow. Holy Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment at Desert View Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Joe Salazar; son, Daniel Salazar; daughters, Dolores “Lolo” Salazar, Stella Richards and Marie Baca; sister, Ruth Trujillo; 12 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Salazar. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
