The Town of Taylor is accepting letters of interest for the newly available position as a member of the town council. The council will be accepting letters of interest until Jan. 2. In order to qualify as a member of the council, nominees must be 18 years of age or older, be a registered voter in Taylor and have lived in Taylor for at least 12 months and currently reside there. Letters of interest for the position can be e-mailed to the town clerk, Geri Judd at Geri@tayloraz.org, mailed to P.O. Box 158, Taylor, Ariz., 85939, or handed in at Taylor Town Hall, located at 425 Paper Mill Road. Letters of interest submitted to the town council by Jan. 2 will be reviewed and interviews will take place at the next town council meeting on Jan. 9.
