They are non-migratory, staying in their breeding area year-round, making it easier to photograph one with a quick hand. Winslow City Manager Steve Pauken snapped this feathered friend sunbathing in his backyard, and the shot was featured as one of Arizona Highways magazine’s Friday Fotos earlier this month.
