Tom Wing, a member of the Taylor-Shumway Heritage Foundation, shows off the Ranch & Rodeo display at the Taylor Museum, located at Main and Center streets. The display features many local cowboys. The saddle is Cody Hancock’s, and was used when he won the National Bullriding title. Also on display is the rope he used in that bullride, which was also used by his dad, Ray Hancock, when he went to nationals. The foundation will honor local cowboys at its annual host and hostess fundraising dinner at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Taylor Stake Center, located at 309 W. Willow Lane. For more information, call Katy at 536-2635.
