Lafonzo R. Yazzie
Lafonzo Rynn Yazzie, 30, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, in Phoenix. Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock this morning (Sept. 11) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Leupp, preceded by a visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Relief Society Room. Interment will take place at the Benally family plot in Birdsprings.
He was born June 6, 1985, in Winslow.
Survivors include his sisters, LaDelveldena Wilson, Pauletta Burbank, Sherena Burbank, Raquel Lupe Velasquez and Sandra D. Yazzie; his brothers, Philbertson Burbank, Phildrickson Burbank, Julio Lupe Velasquez, Mauricio Lupe Velasquez and Johnny Yazzie Jr.; and his grandparents, Mary Lou Benally and Johnny Yazzie Sr.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
