Mary Mitchell passed away on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at her home in Winslow. A memorial service will be held at 2 o’clock this afternoon (Nov. 14) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Winslow. She was born in Prescott on Jan. 2, 1936. Mary was a lifelong resident of Winslow. She worked for Little Colorado Medical Center for 20 years, retiring in December 2013. Her husband John was the love of her life. Mary liked to crochet and plastic canvas. Survivors include her sons, Robert (Mae) and James (Kimberly); her daughter, Katherine Graff; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John David Mitchell Jr.; two sons, William Charles Mitchell and John Dave Mitchell III; a grandson, Brandon Gene; and a great-grandson, Maddox Gregory. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
