Marcus Stewart Barnell, 23, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, in Teesto. Funeral services were held May 29 at Maranatha Assembly of God in Winslow.
He was born on March 20, 1992, in Winslow.
Marcus lived the cowboy life, ranching, and working with cattle and other animals.
He always had a smile and a hug for people he knew. He loved his family and always wanted them happy and together. He was quite a jokester.
Survivors include his significant other, Quenby Jill Cody; his son, Princeton K. Barnell; two sisters, Alta and Sherry Barnell; one brother, Antonio Barnell; his parents, Edward and Geneva Barnell; and his grandfather, Richard Yazzie.
He was preceded in death by Ellanore Smith Yazzie.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
