Manny Hernandez III passed away on June 30, 2023, after a brief illness. He was born in Flagstaff on Dec. 28, 1982, and lived in Winslow, his home town. He enjoyed fishing and sports. He was a Dallas Cowboys, Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns fan. Manny was a kind man and loved children. He loved his nieces and nephews. He also adored his great-niece and nephews who referred to him as “Uncle Uncle.” He will truly be missed by all his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Manuel and Doris Hernandez; his brother, Jeremy (Melinda) Hernandez from Flagstaff; his sister, Kari (Thomas) Lopez from Snowflake; and his grandmother, Sylvia Sandoval from Winslow, along with aunts, uncles and most importantly his nieces, nephews and great-niece, nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 14, at First Baptist Church in Winslow. Pastor Al Dubé officiating. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
