Joseph City High School graduates Kayla Begay and Kayle James are both recipients of the prestigious Navajo Nation's Chief Manuelito Scholarship. In order to qualify for this scholarship, students must have both a high GPA and ACT score. They must also have completed a course in Navajo language and Navajo government prior to graduation.
